Pedro Tafur Fasce, ELMO

"ELMO" is a science-fiction short film with the following premise:

"A Space mission is travelling to an unknown destination. As his health deteriorates, Elmo, the oldest astronaut in the crew will discover that he has no control over his fate."

Grounding his research in contemporary cutlural critical theory, Pedro's work focuses on the loss of empathy in the age of Artificial Intelligence and virtual technology. Viewing the science fiction genre as a fertile ground for critical media, this project seeks to probe into a speculative dystopia concerning the trajectory of human relationships in the future.
